Here’s What You Need to Know About Alcohol Inks
Warning: Crafting with alcohol inks may create an obsessive urge to paint everything with it! Yes, I know this personally, because it has happened to me.
All funny business aside, painting with alcohol ink is a whole lotta fun, and even newbies will enjoy how easy it is to create abstract art with it.
On a serious note, alcohol ink has an alcohol type smell. So if you’re sensitive to smells like me, consider working near an open window or a well-ventilated area.
What is Alcohol Ink?
It’s permanent, dye-based vibrant pigments that are fast-drying and perfect media for beginners. It’s typically used on non-porous materials such as glass, tile, ceramics’, yupo paper, and metal.
I’ve never heard of Alcohol Ink, where can I buy it?
I few years ago, I had no idea what alcohol ink was, until I found it on Amazon. I was actually searching for acrylic inks and alcohol inks popped up. After doing some research on how to use it, I bought my first of many sets and now addicted to this art.
You can find it in many craft stores and now available for purchase in our Amazon Shop.
